At this point, any new adapter to the next gen consoles is looking at the shelves and seeing over 100 games for the PS3 and more than likely has love for certain franchises that are remaining on the PS systems. There are over 150 million PS system owners that will be considering a PS3 no matter how poorly it did or may have thought to have done in the past few months. The general concept of AAA titles should not change no matter how old the article is. AAA Titles and what makes them so should be set in stone anyway and should not change on a whim due to whatever games are out at the moment. IMHO, the article should be a worthy read no matter the year. He/She makes some good points in the post.

It’s that people that review PS3 games have no taste. Sorry but when I look at the user rankings at GameRankings.com, most of the PS3 titles get around 80% or higher. That IMHO is pretty good. Good enough for a purchase to me. Besides, it seems fashionable to mock the PS3 still so you can expect all the reviewers to jump on the band wagon.
I guess Sony must not have handed out any 800-dollar goodie bags to the reviewers for their games…
Sorry you seem to think so. Folklore will get my money because of one reason… I liked the Demo. Sure I could analyze why I liked the demo but in the end, the game was just plain fun.

The PS3 was released at a time when Sony needed to get BD players into the hands of those who wanted it and it was released in a time when gamers who are Sony loyal wanted their next iteration of gaming goodness. For BD they were greatly successful and for gaming they were mediocre. This game is on the top of my list as must haves. I cannot wait to get into the jungle with some lead at my side!
This game is great and after the demo I was for certain to add this one to my library of games. The atmosphere, the art direction, the characters and the creatures. Holy crap there are a ton of creatures. If you have not DL’d the clips and demo for this game you need to. It is one great ride and I cannot wait to play the entire game through.

What does the success of Halo 3 sales have to do with Sony and the PS3? People don't really think that the PS3 will fall due to Halo 3 hitting 8 or so million sales do they?
Is it just me or are the PS systems all doing well as a collective group? I know that separately they may not have seen too successful but in the grand scheme of things, Sony has a bit of hardware for every taste. The PS2 for casual gamers, the PS3 for hardcore and the PSP for those that want to game on the go. Nice job Sony for penetrating the market a little deeper this time.

To see another good developer go on their own. It would be cool to see them come out with another game that shres the multiplayer value that Halo shares only not limited to 16 players online at one time. I wonder if they would have the rights to do a Marothon Redux?
I am going to go broke this season! There are so many game coming to all three systems that I am not going to have any more:
1) Time
2) Money
3) Friends/Family

Look on the bright side. they said that if it does indeed come out later then all the PC maps will be included in the PS3 version. Now I don't know about you but I would say that the extra wait might be worth the extra content. It's nice to see them doing their best to get us a great game.
Bubbles from me bud. I have played Lair and loved it. I have no trace of Japanese in me and have grown up in the US so I must be an anomaly… I do have to say that Lair was a good game and was fun for the time it lasted. It definitely deserves a decent score like this and not the bashing it got here in the States. It would seem that most of the Statesmen reviewers have been bought off to bash anything PS. Too bad too, since there have been several good titles on the system.
Now let's hope that they do not fall victim to the typical delays for the PS3 versions while the other versions come out on time. I just can't wait for the devs to fully graps the PS3 hardware.
